Each summer we set aside these 13 weeks for an emphasis on Scripture memory. A list is given to each Sunday School teacher of the verse for each week. By doing this each class is memorizing the same verse each week. The teachers is also given copies of the verse on a small card for each student.
The teacher is to take a few minutes each week to teach the verse and help the students memorize the verse. Teachers of children will break up the verse according to what they deem appropriate for their age group. Such a way of memorization will help keep unity in the church as they grow together memorizing the Word of God.
